On Sunday January 27, 2013, Juan Carlos Gonzalez, who is currently sponsoring one child through us, participated in the ING Miami Marathon. He ran 26 miles to benefit other children by inviting friends to donate 1 dollar per mile ran. His goal was to get enough money to sponsor three other children for a full year. We are starting to receive donations, and according to our calculations, his goal was met. We will update this information as soon as we get all donations. Thank you Juan Carlos for such an effort.
