MY FAMILY:

I live with my mom, my dad and my 5 siblings. My mom’s name is Yenis, my dad’s name is Esquibel, and my siblings are: Moises, Ester, Joel, Jeremias and Isaias. To support my family my dad works doing different tasks when work comes up such as fishing, cut wood, or selling handcfrafts.

MY HOME & COMMUNITY:

Our house has three bedrooms and one bathroom. It is located in “Ceibal,” a small community located in Bolivar, Colombia. It is made of concrete and has metal sheets as a roof. We have electricity, but there it is not stable. We do not have drinking water,  we have to collect it in containers to use it for cooking, bathing, and drinking. The weather is hot and the streets are unpaved.
