A dream coming to past… and the beginning of a new one!
For the past 8 years, our family has been sponsoring a girl in Colombia.
Her name is Linda, and she was 9 years old when we started this amazing journey. Today she is 17, and through the years, we have been able to build a very special relationship with her by means of letters and photographs.
On August 8, 2012 we had the privilege of meeting her in person. The experience was overwhelming, to say the least. Without a doubt, one of the happiest days we’ve ever lived.
And the reason why we feel this way is because this is the kind of love that only God can put in our hearts. Being able to look deep into her eyes, hug her and hear her voice was amazing. We cried and expressed our mutual love. We met her family, went to her humble house, and met the people at her community.
She is very thankful for these years of opportunities and we are very thankful for the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with her. (more…)
